MAT Welding is CE accredited and produces Structural Steel to the harmonised standard which covers fabricated structural steelwork to BS EN 1090: Execution Class 2.
All our welders who produce structural steel components are covered by weld tests that comply with our ISO 3834-2 Welding Quality Management System.
To ensure all our projects comply with this strict legislation we follow a Factory Production Control (FPC). The purpose of our FPC system is to control the manufacturing process, within the boundaries set by specifications, standards and/or regulations. We maintain records of the measurements and checks carried out, carry out corrective actions when non-conformity is identified and provide traceability through the process from customer order to delivery. The FPC system is underpinned by our quality plan based upon BS EN ISO 9001: 2008, the effectiveness of which is reviewed quarterly and updated if shortfalls are identified. Areas monitored within these systems are: - Health & Safety, Training, Quality Control, Plant Maintenance, Record Keeping, Customer Service and Production Control.
